Najat is a Palestinian-Canadian journalist.

She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Ryerson University in Canada, and a Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies and Political Science from the University of Toronto. Najat had previously worked as a reporter and producer at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), before joining Sky News Arabia as part of its launching team. At Sky, Najat produces reports and presents video walls and news bulletins. Her international coverage assignments included the US presidential elections and the Israeli parliamentary elections.
